Shot Blasting and Special Floor Coatings

Shot blasting is a superior surface preparation method to acid etching. TBI uses a U.S. Filter-Nelco shot blast machine. This produces a brush blast to open pores for proper adhesion of the floor coating. It does not leave “tiger stripes,” as do other brands of shot blasting machines.
